On the journey that is Mastery, I find myself thinking more internally about myself. Begging on the road that is my Mastery Journey I find myself that I have a few things I’d like to really dive into in the next 12-months.
One of the first things is to find the confidence in myself to appreciate my work. I believe having my background as a musician has made me very critical of my own work. As a musician, I feel like I’m always trying to do better and push on. This seemingly gets in the way of realizing how good my work is and I tend not to take time to really admire it. I find myself working very meticulously and with long hours. Then when the project or job is done I tend not to spend too much time admiring what I’ve created. This coming year I feel like I need to make sure that I can look at any of my work and admire how much time and effort went into it.
Also doing this work I feel like I want to bring my willingness to be meticulous in my work to my other life activities. I’ve been able to do this in physical activity, gym, I just really need to hone this superpower to be as picky with my food as I am with my work.
Another thing I’d like to do is to explore new avenues when it comes to advertisement. Being able to find new ways of delivering information to the masses is a big goal of mine. I intend on being able to advertise anything to anyone all while appreciating the work that’s gone through to do this. I’m a, behind the camera, background type of guy but hopefully, my degree in Digital Marketing can help me use my skills and gain some new ones. I feel like I’m a hard worker and I’m ready to put it to the test with this new journey in my life.
