I chose this inspirational video speech by Dwayne Johnson because I’ve been in his shoes, maybe not on such a grand scale but I can relate. Being pushed up against a wall and realizing you have to put in the work with your own two hands to keep moving forward has been sort of the staple of my life. The main point is though when you make it to wherever you’re going or whatever you’re doing is not to get complacent but to keep those tough times in the back of your mind. To remind you of where you were and where you are is key to making sure you don’t become ego driven and lose your humility. “My thought process is that no one will outwork me, (Dwayne Johnson, 2018)”. Keeping true to yourself and making sure you put in the work is a great way to stay ahead and make sure to keep moving forward.
